Entry Criteria

Students must be:

  • Over 18 years of age
  • English language fluency to IELTS Level 5.5 (International students only)
  • A Level 3 qualification in Travel and Tourism
  • OR 18 years or over, no qualifications, with a varied work experience (paid or unpaid)

Start Date

  • Every Monday, excluding UK Bank Holidays


Course Duration

  • 12 months


Course Assessment

Assignments are research project assignments, NOT academic assignments

Research project assignments are based on data and information published and available online and offline

Therefore, you will be expected to do research projects for these assignments, and NOT write academic assignments based on theory

You will be given guidance by your tutor

Student need to complete 5 assignments – No examinations

Assignment 1 covers unit: Travel and Tourism Sector

Assignment 2 covers unit: Finance and Funding in Travel

Assignment 3 covers units: Research Project, Issues in Travel and Tourism and Sustainable Tourism

Assignment 4 covers units: Marketing, PR and Promotion and Incoming and Domestic Tourism

Assignment 5 covers units: Hospitality Provision, Tourism Destination and Travel and Tourism Entrepreneurs


Study Support

Following registration, you will be allocated a UK-based tutor, who will be available by telephone and Moodle Messaging to discuss your coursework and give advice and guidance on assignments


Course Delivery

The course is a self-study course. It is delivered via an Online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called Moodle.

Students are given a time table to follow, with assignment submission dates.

Study materials consist of self-study online books that are available on our Online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called Moodle.

Assignments are available via the Online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and are submitted to your tutor via the Online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)

Tutors will mark your assignment and feedback via the VLE.

Tutors are also available to guide and help you with the course via the VLE.

All students can submit a draft assignment before the final assignment is submitted to your tutor for grading.

Fees & Funding

£1625.00 GBP plus Edexcel Registration Fee £210.24

The course fees cover all study materials, personal tutor support and assessments

There are several ways you can pay for your fees.

Instalment Option

Note: There is a £100 admin charge if using this option

Deposit and Registration Fee: £325 deposit plus registration fee

Then instalments of £140 per month for 10 months payable on the 1st of each month after the start of the course

Loan Option

Loans available for UK students (subject to status) – minimum 10% deposit of complete fee then 0% APR over 6, 10 or 12 months.
