Award in Leadership Distance Level 5

The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Award in Leadership is a UK nationally accredited and internationally recognised professional development programme. This distance learning course is designed to provide a foundation of knowledge and understanding for those working, in any business sector, in team leader, supervisor, or management positions, or those who wish to learn more about this aspect of management.

The content is also suitable for Owner Managers and Consultants who wish to increase their knowledge of Leadership styles and approaches.

Progression

Students wishing to gain higher level qualifications in this field can progress smoothly on to the Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and then on to the Diploma in Leadership, giving them a valuable complete set of qualifications.

As the Award is a stand-alone qualification, students who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of other business areas can study for other Level 5 Awards, in Events Management, Human Resources Management, Supply Chain Management, or Marketing Management, or for more general management, study for a Level 5 Certificate in Management Studies CMS or Higher National Certificate HNC in Business Management.

Entry Requirements

The student must:

  • be over 18 years of age
  • have at least one year of work experience

or be

  • an Owner Manager wishing to develop and grow their organisation
  • a Consultant with corporate clients.
