About the Course

The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Award in Events Management is a UK nationally accredited course which is internationally recognised. This online distance learning course is designed to provide a foundation of knowledge and understanding for those working in hospitality, entertainment, and the leisure sector, who wish to learn more about this aspect of business.

The content is also suitable for Owner Managers and Consultants who wish to increase their knowledge of best practice in Events Management.

The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Award in Events Management consists of two units.

Progression

Students wishing to gain higher level qualifications in this field can progress smoothly on to the Level 5 Certificate in Events Management. The course will gain you exemptions from the Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Certificate in Events Management for two of the units, leaving you only one unit to complete to gain the Certificate level course.

Entry Requirements

The student must:

  • be over 18 years of age
  • have at least six months work experience in Events Management or a related sector.

Start Date

Every Monday, except UK Bank Holidays.

3 to 6 months.

Tutor Support

Following registration, you will be allocated a UK-based tutor, who will be available by telephone, fax, and email to discuss your coursework and give advice and guidance on assignments.

Course Delivery

The course is a self study course. It is delivered via a Online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called Moodle. Please contact us if you require any further information.

Each Unit typically takes about 4 to 6 weeks.

 

Study Fees

£550 GBP , plus £87.60 GBP Edexcel Registration Fee. The course fees cover all study materials, personal tutor support and assessments.
