The aim of this unit is to build upon the knowledge and understanding developed in the human resource management unit.
A broader and wider perspective is developed in relation to the application of human resource management practices. A comparative approach is also introduced to consider human resource management policy and practice in a global context.

2 Review ways of developing flexibility within the workplace
