The Award in Supervising the Health & Safety of Learners in the Workplace is an internationally recognised health and safety qualification that is designed to enable supervisors, team leaders, junior managers, trainers, teachers and lecturers, to develop an understanding of the significant health and safety risks facing learners in the workplace and how to identify and deal with them appropriately.
Training and Educational establishments are increasingly expecting their teaching and support staff to hold this qualification as evidence of their awareness of the dangers of risks and hazards to learners in the workplace.
The award is also highly respected as a foundation qualification for Health & Safety Officers and Health & Safety Representatives, in public and private sector organisations throughout the world.
Accredited at Level 3 on the UK National Qualifications Framework, the Award in Supervising Health & Safety of Learners in the Workplace provides strong evidence of knowledge and understanding of a critical area of workplace practice, and an understanding of the need for policies and procedures that support workplace activity.
This award is accepted internationally by providers of higher level qualifications as evidence of commitment to professional development and the ability to study for a nationally accredited qualification.
