    What an excellent graphic with a very important history. I realized this is really focused on higher education online learning.

    However, if you happen to update this, and wanted to add in some K-12 entries, I might suggest:

    iNacol, the National Organization for K-12 Online Learning releases National Standards for Quality Programs in 2009 and National Standards for Online Teachers in 2011.

    1994 – The Utah Electronic School established
    1996 – Virtual High School, Inc. established in Massachusetts as one of the first online school collaboratives
    1997 – Florida Virtual School established

    Thank you for your comment, Rob. However, as you saw the purpose of the graphic is to chart education for more mature students and those who may have felt somewhat left out in the surge toward technology!
