About the Award in Management & Leadership Online Distance Learning Course

The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership is a UK accredited course which is internationally recognised. It provides an introduction to the management and leadership skills, qualities and knowledge that are required for employment in the management and business sector.

The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership is a qualification with a minimum of 10 credits. The course consists of 1 unit. The course will gain you exemptions from the Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership for 1 of the units, leaving you only 2 units to complete to gain the Certificate level course.

Progression

As the Award in Management and Leadership is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) there is a clear progression route onto higher level course. It provides a step towards higher qualification such as the Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership, the Diploma level course and eventually a Masters and or an MBA course.

Entry Requirements

Access is open to all, but ideally the student should:

  • be over 18 years of age
  • have at least 6 months work experience.

Tutor Support

Following registration, students will be allocated a UK-based tutor who will be available by telephone and Moodle Messaging (email via the Virtual Learning Environment) to discuss course work and give advice and guidance on assignments.

Course Delivery

The course is a self study course. It is delivered via an online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called Moodle. Please contact us if you require any further information.

Study Time

Each Unit typically takes about 4 to 6 weeks. The complete course should take 2 months.

Study Fees

£250 GBP, plus £72.60 GBP Edexcel Registration Fee. The course fees cover all study materials, personal tutor support and assessments.
