About the Course

The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership is a UK accredited course which is internationally recognised. It is designed to enable middle managers to learn and perform their role more thoughtfully and more effectively. The content is also suitable for Owner Managers who wish to increase their knowledge in this area.

The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership is a qualification with a minimum of 40 credits. The course consists of 7 units. If you have already completed the Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership, you will gain exemptions for 3 units and will only be required to complete 4 units.

Progression

As the Diploma in Management and Leadership is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) there is a clear progression route onto higher level course. The course provides a sound foundation for managers who wish to develop further and take higher level management and business programmes, such as Edexcel BTEC Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, or move on to a Masters or MBA.

Entry Requirements

The student must:

  • be over 23 years of age
  • have at least two years of team leader or supervisory experience

or be

  • an Owner Manager wishing to develop and grow their organisation
  • a Consultant with corporate clients.

Every Monday, except UK Bank Holidays.

12 to 18 months.

Tutor Support

Following registration, you will be allocated a UK-based tutor, who will be available by telephone, fax, and email to discuss your coursework and give advice and guidance on assignments.

Course Delivery

The course is a self study course. It is delivered via an online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called Moodle. Please contact us if you require any further information.

Study Time

Each Unit typically takes about 4 to 6 weeks. The complete course should take approximately 12 to 18 months.

Study Fees

£1340 GBP, plus £127.20 GBP Edexcel Registration Fee. The course fees cover all study materials, personal tutor support and assessments.
