Advanced Diploma in Management Studies

The Level 7 Advanced Professional Diploma in Management Studies is an internationally recognised programme that is designed to enable senior and executive managers to perform their role more thoughtfully and more effectively.

Progression

In addition, as a Level 7 UK accredited National Framework qualification, the design of the Advanced Diploma means that the programme is also recognised by prestigious UK and International Universities and Business Schools as an ideal preparation for their MBA programmes, or their Masters courses in Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Marketing, Quality, or Project Management.

Entry Requirements

The student must:

  • be over 25 years of age
  • have at least three years of middle management experience

and

  • hold a good Honours Degree, or a Diploma level Management qualification, or a professional qualification

or be

  • a middle or senior manager or specialist, with over 5 years of experience
  • an Owner Manager wishing to develop and grow their organisation
  • a Consultant with corporate clients.

Start Date

Every Monday, except UK Bank Holidays.

Duration

18 to 24 months.

Assessment Requirements

  • Students need to complete all 9 modules
  • Assessed Assignments per module

Tutor Support

Following registration, you will be allocated a UK-based tutor, who will be available by telephone, fax, and email to discuss your coursework and give advice and guidance on assignments.

Study Time

Course Materials: Each module 30 hours

Assignments: Each module 6 hours

Background Reading: 30 minutes average per week

Management Report: 1 hour average per week
