About the Course

The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HND in Business is a qualification with a minimum of 240 credits of which 125 are mandatory core.

The HND in Business is a major workplace qualification course which includes a broad range of highly relevant business and management subject areas, making it ideal for those who have started, or are planning to move into, a career in private of public sector business.

The HND in Business is also recognised as being equivalent to the first two years of a UK degree. After 1 year of extra study, with entry into the 3rd and final year 3 at a UK, USA or Australian university, it can become a BA Honours Degree. The HND has 16 units.

On completion of the HND, you can apply for direct entry to a Top-Up Degree at the London School of Business and Management. The degree is awarded by the Cardiff Metropolitan University. This can be studied via distance learning or full-time.

Subject Units

Assessment

Students need to complete 4 assignments per module (except for Research Project).

Course Delivery

The course is a self study course. It is delivered via a Online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called Moodle.

Study Timetable

Each Unit typically takes about 4 to 6 weeks with 4 assessed assignments. The complete course should take approximately 18 to 24 months.

Tutor Support

Following registration, our students will be allocated a UK-based tutor who will be available by telephone, fax and email to discuss your course work and give advice and guidance on assignments.

Study fees

£2,695 GBP, plus £213.12 GBP Edexcel Registration Fee. The course fees cover all study materials, personal tutor support and assessments.
