About the Course
The Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Business is a modular business programme which is a foundation course in Business and Management. It is highly regarded by employers in all business sectors, and is also accepted as an entry qualification into Year 1 of a Bachelor degree at a UK, USA, or Australian university.
Please note:
If you are intending to move into, or make progress in, Supervision or Management, we recommend you take the HNC Business Management.
If you work in, or are certain that you wish to work in, a specialist business function, we recommend that you select a career group HNC to match that area of business.
If you are studying this course as a pre-degree preparation course, we recommend that you select a career group HNC that is compatible with the degree subjects you plan to study.

Entry Requirements
- Applicants must be over 17 years of age
- Good School Grades - 55% +
- English language fluency to IELTS Level 5.5.

Assessment
Students need to complete 4 assignments per module (except for Research Project).
Study Timetable
Each Unit typically takes about 4 to 6 weeks with 4 assessed assignments. The complete course should take between 9 and 18 months.

Following registration, our students will be allocated a UK-based tutor who will be available by telephone, fax and email to discuss your course work and give advice and guidance on assignments.
