Do I need a powerful computer?
No - your PC or laptop does not need to be the latest, most powerful, model. However, you will need:
- a PC or laptop that is capable of running Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook, or similar software
- a Windows 98, 2000 or XP operating system, or similar Mac system
- an email postbox that is capable of receiving attachment files of 1 gigabyte - such as provided by Google, Yahoo, Hotmail
- a reliable Internet connection - broadband if possible, but dial-up will be sufficient but slow
- a reliable, permanent, email address - this will be our main communication channel.
