CQI Certificate in Quality ~ Online Distance Learning
This prestigious UK accredited Chartered Quality Insititute CQI Certificate (previously the IQA Quality Certificate) is specially designed to provide students with an internationally recognised qualification in Quality Management
The quality management training covered by the content makes this equally relevant to consultants and owner managers wishing to build a foundation of knowledge of quality assurance
The content provides:
- an understanding of quality concepts
- an appreciation of the need for quality and its control
- awareness of the terminology of quality
- an appreciation of customers, clients and markets
- the ability to evaluate the human dimension of an organisation
- an understanding of the statistical methods used in quality
- awareness of the disciplines, systems and techniques of quality management

CQI ~ Chartered Quality Institute * previously IQA Institute of Quality Assurance, before Chartered status
Successful students will be able to apply for Associate Membership of the CQI and gain the designate ACQI

Entry Requirements
The CQI stipulates no specific entry requirements, however, students must have a good standard of numeracy and literacy, as specific modules within the qualification require calculations and written essay work. GCSE Maths and English
or equivalent, are advisable
Students may be new to quality and therefore will have little current experience to support their application.
However, students that are in a working environment involving quality would benefit from this qualification, as they will be able to apply some of the theories and techniques in the workplace and see the results first hand
Students who are not working will benefit from finding volunteer positions within a quality working environment

Examinations are held in London, in UK regional centres, and in British Council and Embassy offices worldwide

Tutor Support
Following registration, you will be allocated a UK based tutor, who will be available by telephone, fax and email to discuss the course work and give advice and guidance on assignments

Student Registration
It is your responsibility to register as a student, as this must be done personally.
To register as a student, please go to www.thecqi.org/membership and download the registration form and send it to the CQI. You will then receive your Student Number from the CQI . You will need this number as identification on your Assignment Cover Sheets, and when you register to sit the examinations.
Please also notify your Tutor when you have registered as a student.
Examination Registration
It is your responsibility to register for the examinations, as this must be done personally.
When you are certain that you wish to sit an examination, please go to www.thecqi.org/learning. Complete the form for each Module that you wish to sit, and send this to the CQI.
Please also notify your Tutor that you have registered for an examination.
Payment of Student Registration and Examination Registration Fees
In both cases, you will already have paid the registration fees, as these are included in your Study Fee that you have paid to us. When you apply for Student or Examination registration, nominate us as the address for the CQI to send the invoice to.
Examination Location Costs
Please note that our fees do NOT cover any costs charged by the Examination Centre, in the UK or Overseas.
We are not responsible for any costs, fees, charges, which are in addition to the CQI Examination Registration Fee.
Examination Location costs must be paid by the student or their organisation.
Late Entry Fees
Please Note we cannot be responsible for Late Entry examination fees. These are your responsibility and must be paid by you.
Late Cancellation Fees
Please Note we will not be responsible for Withdrawal Cancelleation Charges made by the CQI when a student withdraws from an examination after the deadline for withrawals has passed. These are your responsibility and must be paid by you.
