About the Course

This BSc UoL accredited degree in Management gives students the opportunity to study the activity of management and the environment in which the effective manager operates, in an intellectually rigorous fashion. The degree has a strong emphasis on social science theory and practice.

The degree is for you if you:

  • are interested in a career in management consultancy, banking, accountancy or general management
  • it will also be useful if you want to go on to pursue further training in management and corporate disciplines

This degree provides an opportunity for critical and theoretical study, particularly in economics.  You will receive an intellectually demanding, broad preparation for management that draws on a wide range of social science disciplines.

The content will be relevant to your experiences and local business environment, but will also give you a knowledge and understanding of a range of issues in international management.

The aim of the range of subjects available is to enable you to look analytically and critically at critical management issues.

The course is designed to develop excellent analytical skills, which are invaluable to the decision making role of management and also for further study.

Entry Requirements

  • Over 18 years of age
  • Good High School Grades or
  • Two subjects at GCE “A” Level + at least three subjects at GCSE/GCE “O” Level
  • English Language fluency to IELTS Level 6.0

Assessment

Students need to complete:

  • A total of 13 Units
  • Assessed Assignments per unit
  • One External Examination per unit

External Examinations

Examinations are set and held externally, at University of London Examination Centres, in the UK and Internationally in major cities

Average Study Time:  10 hours per week
